About this Opportunity
Life-Assist is looking for a Clinical Product Specialist to operate as part of the Products team in support of all product-related inquiries. Utilizing previous EMS-industry experience and product knowledge, the Clinical Product Specialist is responsible for researching and vetting new and alternative products based on trends and customer demand and plays a main role delivering training to the sales team and sales support staff.
You will participate in various product-related committee meetings to offer insight and expertise, meet with vendors, and engage with customers. This role will also be expected to maintain keen insight into the overall EMS industry by occasionally attending events, webinars and reviewing trade publications/websites.

As the Clinical Product Specialist, you will:
- Assist with the monitoring of the Products email inbox and respond as appropriate in a timely manner, including fielding product issues/complaint forms and follow up.
- Participate and conduct product demonstrations, reviews, and introductions to be videotaped for use on Life-Assist’s website and engage with customers to assist with product inquiries.
- Use various resources, regularly research new and/or replacement products to meet demand, including engaging with vendors via email and phone to obtain product information.
- Assist the Bids and Contracts department in researching product items and pricing.
- Participate in various Products-related meetings including the New Product meetings and follow up on any topics or issues in-between meetings.
- Play a primary role in delivering product training for inside staff and sales team.
- Act as pharmaceutical product resource, assisting Purchasing, Compliance, and Customer Care teams with sourcing, controlled substance ordering, and Rx Authorization follow ups as required.
- Coordinate and host initial vendor qualification communication and/or meetings.
- Support Marketing team to help ensure website content is up to date and accurate.
- Assist with updating and maintaining various product data management grids including Low-Cost Alternatives and Competitor Grid.

Who Are You?
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience as a Licensed Paramedic required
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Can communicate clearly and work on a team
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Great attitude with motivation and drive
- Listen and follow directions
- Work with limited supervision
