Job Description:

Canyon County Paramedics, a leader in providing high-quality 911 ground emergency medical services, is seeking dedicated, skilled, and compassionate paramedics to join our team. As a paramedic with Canyon County Paramedics, you will provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care to patients in urgent and emergency situations. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is committed to saving lives and providing outstanding care in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care, including assessing and stabilizing patients, administering medications, and performing advanced medical procedures.
• Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other emergency responders, medical personnel, and hospital staff.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and maintain necessary documentation.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment and ensure all vehicles are fully equipped.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Educate patients and the public on medical care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Paramedic licensure with the State of Idaho or hold NREMT certification at the Paramedic level.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to remain calm and think critically in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to perform required job duties
