The City of Camas is seeking a Division Chief – Fire Marshal. This is an exempt, non-represented position and is eligible for a full benefits package including paid time off and paid administrative leave.
This position will oversee and coordinate the organization, staffing and operational activities of the fire prevention program of the Fire Department including fire code development and enforcement, plans review, fire investigation, and community education.The Fire Marshal will conduct onsite inspections, prepare compliance reports, and conduct public presentations to various groups, the Planning Commission and City Council. This position will report to the Fire Chief and act as Fire Chief in the absence of the same, when appointed.
