Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department hires certified Firefighter/Paramedics (FF/PM). Fourth (4th) semester paramedics may apply, however, you must obtain your State of Florida Paramedic certification by July 17, 2026. Candidates that have not yet received their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance may apply, however, you must obtain this certification by July 17, 2026.

The following certificates must be uploaded AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION

  • Valid Driver's License
  • One of the following:
    • State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance OR
    • Letter from current school noting you are currently enrolled with a projected graduation date from the program*
  • Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
  • CPAT (National) OR EPAT OR Certificate of Completion from CSRIPS within the previous 12-months
    • CPAT scores must be valid between the dates of April 30, 2025 - April 30, 2026. If you do not have a CPAT, please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT. If your appointment is scheduled after you submit your application, please email your appointment information to Alyssa Steckler at asteckler@coralsprings.gov
    • EPAT scores must be valid between the dates of April 30, 2025 - April 30, 2026. If your appointment is scheduled after you submit your application, please email your appointment information to Alyssa Steckler at asteckler@coralsprings.gov
    • For candidates that attended CSRIPS and have your certificate of completion, it must have been obtained within the previous 12-months of submitting your application.
    • Any questions in reference to obtaining your CPAT, please contact Palm Beach State College at 561-967-7222 or 561- 868-3350.
  • One of the following:
    • State of Florida Paramedic License OR
    • Letter from current school noting you are currently a 4th semester paramedic with a projected graduation date from the program**
Once your application is submitted, you will not be able to add any documents to your application.
